Newham Careers Month 4th-23rd March 2019, incorporating National Careers Week & National Apprenticeship Week Additional events offered by Newham College of Further Education
Newham Careers Month provides a fantastic range of free careers events and activities for year 9-11 students in Newham schools as part of National Careers Week and National Apprenticeships Week 2019.
This is the fourth year that the Newham 14-19 Partnership has provided activities across the month of March to enable schools to take part in more opportunities across a three week period.
The events and activities are provided free by the post-16 organisations in Newham and by employers, including the Construction Industry Training Board. The activities cover a wide range of careers including:
Travel and Tourism, Performance & Production, Health and Childcare, Robotics, building and programming, Engineering, Sports and related careers at the London Stadium, Business, Construction, Psychology, Crime, Criminology & Forensics
Sports Development and Coaching, and Art & Design
There are also a number of Apprenticeship Workshops and an Apprenticeship Fair delivered by employers.
