Are you interested in training to become a teacher?
Are you a head teacher, or a member of your school’s senior leadership team wanting to find a great teacher training programme for your staff?
Yes! . . Then why not come along to the ELEYSP teacher training awareness event on Tuesday 30 April at Kaizen Primary School from 4pm.
Whether you are working in a school now, have experience of working with children or a head teacher / senior leadership team member keen to meet the new cohort of people wanting to train, this is a great opportunity to talk to trainees and teachers who have been on the course and are currently teaching in Newham schools.
The East London Early Years Schools Partnership (ELEYSP) in conjunction with the University of East London, run primary school teacher training through the School Direct programme. As a teaching alliance, ELEYSP have a wealth of experience and a wide range of schools in Newham for people to train to become a teacher.
There are a number of local residents on our course who have started as teaching assistants in local schools and now become teachers in local schools and are working on their leadership skills. The ELEYSP teaching programme is a great demonstration of Newham schools investing and developing local people. But if you live outside Newham we welcome you too!
