Newham 14-19 Education Partnership Leaders Forum
The Newham 14-19 Education Partnership was established in 2002. The Partnership is led by the 14-19 Leaders Forum, and has three sub-groups: the CEIAG Network; the 16-19 Safeguarding Network; and the T Level Working Group
16-19 Safeguarding Network
The 16-19 Safeguarding Network is a sub-group of the Newham 14-19 Partnership. It focuses on developing and sharing good practice in all aspects of Safeguarding in 16-19 education and training, including Prevent. The Network is attended by DSLs from all the 16-19 providers in the Newham partnership
The Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) Network is a sub-group of the 14-19 Leaders Forum. The network of careers advisers from schools, colleges and universities meets termly, and each network meeting includes updates on employment sectors and employer speakers, as well as updates on developing good practice in careers education and IAG. The network helps careers advisers to update and develop their knowledge and contacts, and to develop more careers activities and opportunities to their students. The CEIAG network will be focussing on supporting schools and colleges to achieve Gatsby benchmarks in 2018, and developing and sharing good practice
The T Level Working Group is a sub-group of the Leaders Forum, which was established to foster a collaborative approach to the development of the local T Level offer and Transition Year from 2020-22 amongst 16-19 providers in the borough.
